I bout a 95 SET conv, 5spd, with 26k miles on it from the first owner. It has every option on it and is really fun to drive.
However, it was under warranty up to 50k and boy was that neeed. The top has been fixed (or tried) to the tune of 12 times. The clutch was replaced at 52k miles (who knows how the first owner drove).
The Ignition casette failed (they all do) at around 70k. This one isnt too bad to fix. Its $300 and 5 minute of your time.
The conve top mechanism on , I beleive , 1997s and higher(you should check this fact) are hydraulic and are deemed to be better.
In my opinion, you should get a 1997 and higher model with the 4cyl Turbo engine only. Stay away from the 6cyl GM engine. Hope this helps

PS The clarion CD changers in the truk are not ver durable either.
