Yes you need to pull up the shift boot and remove a plug on top of the transmission. Put the transmission in fourth gear and insert a pin in the transmission where the plug was -- I used a phillips screwdriver so it wouldn't fall through (very important!). Under the shift boot you will see a hole that should line up with a hole on the shift linkage. You can see most of the essentials on Townsend Imports SAAB Master page about the improved gear linkage. If that doesn't work visit Towndend's pages (through the TSN sponser links) and drill down to the page. It's really an easy adjustment.
