Sounds like too many problems for me. I'm no Saab expert, I come on here everyday and ask the most basic questions, but I just bought a 97 900s coupe, and this board provided me with the right questions to ask and what to look for and everything, and I have been very happy so far. Mine has 42,000 miles, and has had no major work done. Everything feels great and is in great shape, I can tell that the previous owner knew what they were doing and took care of the car. The black leather looks like it's never even been sat on before. With that many problems, it sounds like a lemon. Of course, I drove Jeep Wranglers for a few years, but I still know that the things you mentioned don't seem to be normal repairs or problems. Look for something with a cleaner record, buy a warranty (mine goes until 100,000) and you'll save a lot of headaches in the future.
