I live very close to work and when ever I need a car I can borrow my girlfriends. I just cant stand Montreal winters, its not the snow its the salt. I know SAABs are great in winter but cars take a beating up here, they really use alot of road salt. Usually park the car from beginning dec. to end of March. My car still looks like new(even under the hood) and I want to keep it looking that way atleast untill I pay off what I owe on it. As a side note, all this salt must be horrible on the environment. If everyone would invest in snow tires we could probably get by using gravel and sand.
