Are you sure it's brake related? And-- front or rear? Gut feel is forget about balanced/rotated/aligned. Maybe even ignore the sensation, depending on the mileage, and how long and bad you want to be anal about this condition. If you're not feeling any pulling to one side, or weird caustic smells, I'd rule out seized calipers. Were the rotors turned when the last set of pads were put on? Sometimes, but not always, this can lead to weird sounds, depending upon wear patterns. (Quite frankly, I never turn rotors, unless there's a groove worth removing.) Might want to remove the wheels and check any hardware that's connected to the brakes. The backing spring on my rear pads had a loose rivet the last time I replaced the pads--- just drilled it out and screwed/double nutted everything together properly to make it right.
