The easiest thing to do is to call Crutchfield, and just tell them you need a changer for your Saab 900. There are several CD changers that will work, all of them made by Clarion. The Saab radio only supports Clarion's C-BUS protocol, and it only works with 6-disc changers. The current one is the CDC-625. The CDC-635 has just been discontinued, from what I've heard, and is what I have in my 900. My local Saab dealer tells me that the factory CD changer is no longer available, but it was very expensive, anyway. Saab also makes a mounting kit, which is essentially a steel cage that bolts onto the left side of the hatch and protects the changer. The car has mounting studs for it built in behind the left panel. Only Clarion's long discontinued CDC-605 will bolt right in to the Saab bracket, but if someone doesn't mind drilling a few holes in the bracket, you can mount any model in it. I hope this helps. There's also a 900/9-3 audio FAQ under the FAQ section on Saabnet that might help.
