Other than investigating the fuses (which you have already done?) - if it is a case of the radio unit not recognizing the cd changer, then it would be worth a try following the steps listed under new gen 900 / cd changers in the frequently asked question (faq) section (of the saabnet.com home page). I had to do this after disconnecting the battery on my 900S. Note you need the radio code to reactivate the radio unit. Make sure you remove the correct fuses....I think one of the numbers given in the procedure is wrong (at least for my 900S).
