Ok guys my moms car has been having cold starting problems for the last month and it seems that the dealer is content to keep replacing random parts until he fixes it, in the process racking up a bill. Heres what has happened so far, when the car sits and temperatures fall below 30 or humidity is high the car will crank over fine, but will not start. The fuel pump, battery, and DI cassette have all been replaced. As a side note the car runs and starts perfectly once it is warmed up, it is just the first cold start that sometimes causes trouble, and if the car is not started on the first time, it will not start until it gets warmed up and sits for a good day. I've only found one such refrence to such a problem in this site and he fixed it by replacing the crank angle sensor. The other thing I was thinking was possibly a fuel check valve in the fuel pressure regulator could be getting stuck in cold weather. Please feel free to give suggestions.
