There's a lot of posts on this subject on the forum but most votes seem to go in favour of Eibach springs with Koni shocks. Personally I've fitted the Eibachs (on the recommendation of a Saab dealer) and found considerable improvement - much less body roll with hardly any detriment to ride quality. These springs also lower ride height by about 30mm giving a more "Sporting" look to the car. Apparently Abbott Racing and Swedish dynamics also do upgraded springs for the 900 which are more "Aggressive" than the Eibachs - although personally I'd say any springs harder than the Eibachs would sacrfice too much ride quality on a car intended for purely road use. I can't afford to do the shocks yet, so I can't comment, but the Koni's are adjustable so you should be able to "Dial in" just about any handling characteristics you like if you have them fitted. Hope this helps!
