AllData for the NG is fairly complete, and it's $19.95/yr for access at alldatadiy.com. It's way more than enough to do any routine jobs, and it's all from the factory docs. I get the sense it's not 100% complete but there's more there than you'd ever care to look at (wiring diagrams, trouble codes, trans rebuild, etc.) Plus they occasionally update the list of Service Bulletins, which is nice.
I think begging Bentley for a NG900/9-3 manual might be a better pitch, since there's more production numbers that way. They are basically the same car (well, T-7 and some parts revisions), and Bentley has bitten off way more than that other manuals. i.e. my Jetta Bentley manual covered seven years, 2 body styles, ~7 engines (including diesel and 16v), 4 almost totally different engine management systems...they did leave the trans rebuild out, tho.
"marginal" is being kind to Haynes. Although you could always try Chilton's if you like pain. (No Saab variant, tho.)
