its not fitted to any 900 SE that I have seen in the UK, but i think it was available as an extra at time of purchase. I did not buy the car new.

Air Con is only just becoming a standard feature of luxuary cars in the UK, as we only get to use it (or actually need it) for about 3 weeks in the middle of summer !!!

Some luxuary cars are now fitting climate control which is the next step up from Air Con, and monitors the internal cabin temperatures and characteristics to keep the cabin humidity and temperate at a dialed in constant.

Its no great problem for me anyway, as my car is a convertible !!
