New user--
My wife (and I) own a used 94_900S 2.3, manu, 130Km. It was (pre) in an accident, left driver side.. She got it cheap, I It fixed it up (major service/new clutch, bearing and cable, flush, etc.)
The stearing is out (L, Fr) and drifts ever so slightly to the left. Was told by alignment specialist that he could not adjust the (camber?) any further as the strut must be slightly bent. Steering wheel is off.
As of late, I've been driving the car -hwy......it's driving me nuts. What parts should I order to fix this. I have the brit Haynes manual. and parts ill. FB704AAC94.(as posted) I am not a stranger to cold concete slab and grease. As I restore antique motorcycles. CVs and bushes are good. ahhhh...knock-knock. I'm doing fr rotors/pads and figured I'd give it a shot while I'm in there.
After reading this NG900 forum, which is nice, friendly, and helpful "HELLO ALL"!
I would think-
New purchase: strut, upper mount kitx2, shocks x2 (eeeek! lower mount arm? the big one)
Used: lower mount arm?
Advice / help / input requested.
Oh ya, Holy Manawongachunga!!!! the 4cyl aluminum block engs. really run hot! running 40 weight. But still! wow! how often do folks replace gaskets on these things?
We like the car. It's a nice ride. Will be doing 12 000 mile trip in summer.
Q. Did SAAB USA sponsor the Jerry Sienfield convertable episodes? Major profits to be reaped on the parts. Ahhhh the status.
