The physics is not right Posted by Baron [Email] (#495) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Baron) on Mon, 21 Jan 2002 07:30:12 In Reply to: Re: 3-Door Driver Seat Release, Tim Gardiner, Sun, 20 Jan 2002 18:58:12 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I'm seeing the same thing in the great white North (Canada, ay). I bought my Talladaga in April and when the weather started getting colder the seat release got difficult.
But when colder the "cable" or strap (whatever it is) should shorten. The coincidence of cold weather and a difficult seat release make it sound like something else is happening. I've found the lever itself difficult to move.
The answer is not in the Haynes manual and I checked for refernces in the archive (as our anoymous guest suggested) but found none. Does anyone have a suggested phrase to look up???
Thanks,
Michael B.
