Many do not replace or turn the rotors. The rotors wear to a slightly tapered cross section. So the pads will take longer to bed-in, especially the larger pads on the front. So the optimal braking may take a while longer to develop. Braking may always be weaker at first anyways, so be careful. After this there will be some strong braking potential which will reduce over a week or two as the pads mature.
After market rotors are quite inexpensive. So put the cost of machining towards new rotors and things look quite good. I got good product and pricing as cybertroll.com.
The following might be your best one stop place to shop if you want pads rotor and perhaps hardware. Go with better pads and skip the $lotted and cro$$ drilled rotors if you want better stopping power.
95SET, EBC front pads, Axis MetalMasters on the rear. Aftermarket rear shims, holddown springs and pins can be hard to find.
