Used 900 S 1996 - idle - rusted exhaust/brakes?

Hello all,
I'm considering buying a used 900 2.0 (N/A) 3 doors from 1996 with 78,000 miles on the counter.
1) Noticed that the exhaust pipes were rusted (already starting from inside the engine bay) and there seems like there was rust on the calipers and brakes ... I was wondering if the rust on the brakes and calipers should be a concern?
2) When leaving the engine idling, it wasn't idling constantly, the rev counter needle was (very) slightly going up and down ... again, is something that could be wrong? Otherwise, the car ran smoothly during the test drive.
3) The clutch was ok I guess, except that I heard a small noise sounding like "CLAK" when I engaged the clutch ... sign of anything going wrong?
4) The dealer said it was a special edition "Carlsson" (and the car is badged as such) ... I know very little about cars (and Saab), did anyone hear of a 900 1996 Carlsson edition? It has different rims than on other models (but still Saab rims), maybe the suspension is different? Or is it just a selling trick ...
5) Do all Saab 900 come with an airbag for the passenger?
The car belonged to a leasing company and was serviced regulary by a recognized Saab garage.
Interior and exterior were in mint condition, I'm not looking for performance, so I will be happy with the 2.0 N/A engine (and being in Europe, it's cheaper for insurance, road taxes, etc ...), I'm just looking for something that could be going strong for a few years to come.
Thanks for your help!
