I actually found a T25 from a mitsubishi yesterday. the turbine is a little bent up, but i can switch out with my existing one. it should bolt right up. i am going work on it tomorrow and hopefully have it back tomorrow or friday. i am a little tight with money right now too, that is why i was trying to use this T3 if i could, but it sounds like too large of a project right now. sometime in the future maybe. I will keep you guys posted on how it goes.
Dean. as for what i did to my engine. i replaced a rod barrings, seals, piston rings, timing and crank chain with guides. i was lucky that i caught it when i did or i could have thrown a rod. the engine works great now! the turbo is what is causing problems. it is burning oil and smoking like no car should. it has been six months since it has worked properly so i am a tad acntious about getting it back. One question. is it possible to put a turbo timer on my car? i had heard that you can't with a manual trani. i am going to go for the mbc once i pay for the rebuild. I know a guy that use to race saabs and he said as far as the suspension, it only goes down hill from here. what do you think?
