Fuel cut off after fender bender? Help Posted by Nicholas [Email] (#2995) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Nicholas) on Mon, 4 Mar 2002 21:07:31 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Is a 1996 900set equipped with an automatic fuel shut off? I was a fender bender last Thursday and now it would appear that fuel is not being sent to the engine. I know most cars are equipped with this to prevent explosions/fires after a more serious accident. I was able to limp home about 500 feet after the accident (happened turning onto my street!), but now the car is getting less and less closer to starting. The damage was localized to the drivers head light, radiator, and rad support crossmember. I have plenty of battery power and there is no engine damage. Hope someone knows where I can find a switch or disc for this relay (hopefully nothing more serious).
Thanks,
Nicholas
