The AC is a sure and expensive bet to leak. Plan on an expensive repair of the evap core, and perhaps many other components (the rest are less expensive, though no less aggravating.) I think I've dumped nearly $1900 into ac repairs over the life of my '94 SET. (The excess of which was out of warrantee, but was covered as a courtesy by a great dealer, since the problems were so pernicious, and couldn't be diagnosed easily)
Other things to look for.... worn/damaged suspension components, especially upper strut mounts, which can tear out easily under duress of pot-holes, and bent alloys if you have 205-50-16's installed. Other things--- hoses and thermostats are likely to go out in these vehicles (typical for many other makes too).
Also check for rust under the lip of the hatchback/trunk lid--- where the tips of your fingers go when you open it. Otherwise, the body seems to have decent integrity.
Be aware of any oil leaks-- rear engine seal and input shaft seals on the trans if it's a 5 speed. Park it for an hour after a 1/2 hr warm-up run and check for telltale spots on the pavement.
To be honest, I would purchase my 94 again in a heartbeat. It just goes and goes.... and still SCREAMS!
