Hi,
I have just had the center belt tensioner give out on me on my 95 V6. Obviously there is going to be head damage and valves needed but hey, that's all part of the fun. What I need to know is how the timing marks are lined up as there seem to be loads of them. Does anyone have a photo? Also, I've beed looking at the prices you guys pay for your parts and it's scary.
I live in Sweden and was quoted $500 in your money for a brand new head and $30 per valve. If you need any parts shipped over please let me know. Anyway, back to my problem, anybody with experience of repairing this type of drama themselves on a V6 please give me your input. And what's all this about a special jig for the cam pulleys? If it's just a case of holding the pulleys still then surely it can be made.
Thanks in advance for your help.
