Dean, I think DAK is referring to the problem where the brakes don't seem to "bite" at all because the rotors are cold and wet. (With Michelin Arctics I don't think his tires are skidding on the road). I have had that happen sometimes after a car wash in some cars, but I don't notice it in my 97 900s. Mercedes has solved this in their top models by periodically just letting the pads touch the rotors in order to keep them dry. I have original pads and rotors on my car. Could it be that this is an issue with certain aftermarket pads?
