John, not knowing your original concerns or even if the repairs are sucessful makes it difficult to determine if you have been 'riped off'! how much time was involved in a road test, a fluid check, visual inspection of the lincage, the actual adjustment, a second road test to confirm the fix, and possibly a second adjustment and another road test to make sure its right! was it worth 60 bucks? it was if its fixed and prevents further posible damage to the trans! to program a remote key fob or change any programable seting takes only a few minutes if you have the Knowlege and a tech2. but as most shops are flat rate, the tech will only get paid if you get charged a fee. and besides, why would any one spend three thousand dollars (CDN) for a tech2 and provide this service for free? as for your a/c switch, the system must not have been working, and it requires diagnostic time to determine the fault. this is likly where most of you 60 dollars was spent, not in the actual replacement of the part!
