I had a similar problem. Car would die at idle at stop lights then start up fine.

Turned out my power steering hoses were seeping/leaking where they clamp to the reservoir. And GUESS WHAT??? they leak right onto the ignition coil which Saab (GM more likely!) put right under the D$@* reservoir.

Changed one hose, tightened the other...cleaned the connector at the coil and area with Electrical cleaner/degreaser spray and reinstalled with dielectrical grease on the connector. The problem has not recurred for 3 months.

Take a look and see if yours is leaking.
Turbo's dont have this problem b/c the coil(s) are in their DI cassettes.
