ACC on 96 SE - Vent without heat possible?

In cool weather, say 50-60 degrees F, I wish I could run the ACC somehow on pure "vent" mode, without it mixing heated air into the stream. I've tried it on Auto and on Econ mode, and a modest flow of warm air is coming from the outlets both ways. So, I usually just turn it off; but, sometimes I would really prefer forced un-heated air on cool days. Is there a way to do this?
I miss the fresh-air vent in the center of the dashboard on my OG 900s (82, 87, 88).
