More bad news to follow. I tried glues, needles, everything, but here is what I found that works. In the interim, use those coily stick pins with a clear head like those used on furniture armrest covers, have seem 'em at upholstery shops and auto parts stores too.
Eventually to get it right, you will need to replace the headliner. Tried this on a C900 and it was a PITA. Found a local "Headliners Plus" shop in Augusta, GA who replaced it all for a mere $200.00. I would have paid as much for just for the parts! It looked great and held up too, even the old C900 sunroof cover looked good. Very factory. Don't know where you live, but if I can get good work out of ANYONE in Augusta, GA, you should be able to find someone who specializes in this near you, but ask around for recommendations. Check the Yellow Pages. My indie recommended the shop I used, ask yours.
