I FULLY investigated doing a remote keyless upgrade for a '94 900 for a friend of mine... We checked the wiring diagrams, visited some junkyards to look at the wiring harness and the parts and came to the following conclusion:..
It would be VERY difficult and/or very expensive (especially if a dealer did the work with new parts)
They changed the wiring harness quite significantly, and even the alarm ECUs have different connectors (so you don't just try and plug a new one in). Hacking with electronics in a car can really lead to problems too if you're not careful.
My suggestion is to go with an aftermarket alarm system from a reputable installer who has done Saabs before. It'll be cheaper and you'll probably have more features like remote window closing if you want.
