Replaced rear brake pads Sat, after doing fronts about a month ago (96 900S, 76K). Thanks to Dean for write-ups! Inboard pads were difficult to remove, had to blast with brake cleaner to force out enough debris to get them to wiggle out. Weren't rust bound yet, but perhaps in nick of time! Greased edges of new pads before install.

Noticed my muffler looks pretty bad, so will need to do that soon, and thinking about SAS swaybar after all the posts.

Now the question: To work on the rear, while it's in the air using the floor jack at the rear jacking point, where do you put the stands?! I could jack my Spitfire at the differential and place the stands on the frame, but on the 900 it looks like it's all floor pan and plastic spare tire holder. On the rear axle?
