D.I.Y. job???

After dropping my car off at the dealer for diagnostic testing,
I found out that the reason that my C/E light comes on intermittently
is because of a faulty knock sensor. The dealer says that they
can replace the sensor for $330(parts and labor).
Is there a cheaper way out of this? I found some online stores
that sell knock sensors for as little as $50. Is it necessary to
stick with OEM parts? Is this a DIY job(easily accessible to
replace)? Any and all info will be greatly appreciated.
