Help: Burned CD's in the Clarion Changer?

Hello,
I've had a terrible time getting some of my CD's to play in my Clarion Changer - it seems to pick up every little scratch and skip on them. The other night I thought I'd burn a copies of a few of those CD's on perfectly new CD's - but those don't work either - even thought they both play fine on my computer and home stereo. Does anyone know if (a) the Clarion system is just ultra-sensitive to skipping, (b) won't play burned cd's, or (c) if there's anything else I can do? Thanks in advance.
