thick fuser oil meant for the fuser assembly in a copy machine. I tried a bit of it on the bumpers and was very impressed with the results. I've, since, put it on all of the black parts of my car and it's lasted for over 2 weeks now. It's just starting to fade from when I first put it on, but they still look 10 times better than before. Keep in mind that I live in Florida so the car has been seeing high heat daily and many afternoon showers since I put it on. I know there are different types of fuser oil available, unfortunately, I don't know the brand or type and I've only got a small amount left. :(
You might experiment with other types of oils, I heard that peanut oil works pretty well.
