My '98 NG900 79,000 miles, "hiccups" under hard acceleration in high gears when the car is hot and has been running for some time - doesn't seem to happen when it id cold.. The hesitation is quite abrupt and stops if I back off the gas. No check engine light.
Tried new plugs BCPR6ES-11 gapped to 39 thou. Old plugs BCPR7ES were in good shape - gaps around 41thou, ceramic insulators largely clean with a slight light brown haze under the electrode.
Tried a new tank of gas.
Is this the "dreaded" DIC failure????
