As air conditioning is not typically a "shade-tree" mechanic procedure, I advise you to leave it to the pros, but information-wise the most important thing to know is what is posted by the VINS.
To get to the antifrost thermostat, you have substantial effort to remove the right side of the center console ----
As for the compressor, it is "buried" in the engine bay as was previously posted.
The point of the post was to share that if you are indeed having A/C problems, to inform the mechanic to check the antifrost thermostat by its clip to see if the car has the correct part, and to correspondingly change the thermostatic switch on the compressor --which many mechanics will not know to do.
But you will.
Many shops would just perform the one procedure when BOTH should be done.
