Am I the only one who didn't like them?

I have the Kumhos on another car. I find them to be good for the money but I really don't like them. The ride is a harsh. They stick like a performance oriented touring tire, but not a performance tire, they are making lots of noise after 12K miles and the first couple miles in the AM are flatspotted. Seems that I need to rebalance them all of a sudden too.
For the 9-3, I bought a tire that has unfortunately been discontinued; SZ50s. I found the Firestone SZ50s to be a cut above the Kumhos (and stock Michelins) in every way. They stick great, even in the rain. They're quiet and comfortable as well and they seem to be wearing very evenly (which is probably why they're quiet). Too bad you can only get them in "run flat" versions now. I can guess that those would be OK but less comfortable.
I have no idea what I would get next time so I'll be reading the rest of the posts.
