The DI is the large red blob on the top of the engine fixed with 4 torx screws. It generates the sparks and also monitors the ionization resistance across the gaps to detect knocking conditions. It works great, when it works. These often fail between 90 and 130Kmiles.
It will run very poorly if the plug gaps are not correct or if not a resistor plug. The best plug to use the NGK BCPR6ES11's gapped to .039. 7ES's will do but will pick up deposits over time.
Check the battery for terminal condition and electrolyte level. Check vac lines for split ends, especially the one from the throttle body to the MAP sensor, the tiny black box mounted on the lower surface of the black RH shock tower brace tube.
The DI can be swapped out very easily and quickly. Do you know anyone you could borrow one from for a few minutes?
Once the engine is warm, any dampness will be driven out of the DI environment. Dampness is not a problem as with vehciles with distributors and cables etc.
Oil looks ok? Coolant looks ok? No oil in the coolant and visa versa?
The fuel filters are good for 100000 miles, so there should not be a problem with that with your low miles. Unless there is water in the tank.
Bad acceleration on boost and off boost too? Starts ok? Idles ok?
