Opinions on front rotors??

Just wondering if I could get some feedback on front rotors for my 1997 900 SET. It's really a problem getting them up in Canada (Toronto specifically - 1997 and up more specifcally). I had a cousin of mine who runs a repair shop try to order some for me; trying all options he had, he still got the runaround. Couldn't get the Delco part number (which would have likely been the same as Saab), and couldn't get anything else in a premium product either. I personally picked up a set from Canadian Tire (one Brembo, one no-name) and took them back after I realized they were mis-matched and that the no-name had quite a bit more rust on it.
So now I'm trying to decide;
1. Brembo (have a shop looking into it locally - they said that the parts are most likely Brembo and that their supplier has them in stock) - good or not? (Brembo rotors, that is) - benefit is that I could possibly get them tomorrow.
2. Zimmerman from one of the sponsors - Crossdrilled or not? Which would be the best option? Do crossdrilled significantly shorten the lifespan of pads, and is the performance noticably different in regular driving (maybe a little on the "spirited" side).
Keeping in mind that this is a northern climate care; cold snowy winters and hot humid summers (does this type of weather have any effect - maybe two sets of rotors and pads are required - winter/summer.
Thanks,
Theo
