There is a connection to a pre wired trailer connector, but the existance of these things is not certain.
I don't see how the dimmer figures into this at all.
The fuse powers the tail light, the running filament on the dual filament brake light and a 'side light' in the RH head lamp assy. The head lamp assy has small 5 watt lamps in it that are accessable when the turn signal assy is removed. These often burned out and are not noticed. When you remove that lamp assy, get a flashlight and check for wiring problems back over the fender liner. Any signs of mouse damage? Look at your wiring elsewhere for damage to the friction (cloth) tape. If you have signs of that stuff being chewed, keep looking. If signs of mice, then open your air box to see whats left of your air filter element. The air box is an attractive nest. The K&N's with their steel mesh are mouse proof. Paper elements are yummy!
So are you removing connectors or removing lamps? Use a good ohm meter and save your fuses.
