change is sometimes good, other times a step backwards. It is a mixed bag with these cars, I hated the rattles and squeaks and the flimsy dashboard on the C900. The C900 had better seats, more cargo space, better and more relaible steering. The NG900's tend to get better gas mileage, run stronger, have a nice dash, better stereo system but the seats aren't as good, the steering is rubbery and the cargo space is smaller and less user freindly. I still prefer the unique looks of the C900 coupes. Overall, I think the C900 is a better quality car for the long haul, that is why you still see a lot of them.
The V6 was dropped after just a few years, and had a reputation for self destruction if not watched carefully. Probably smoother, but definitely pokey compared to the 2.0T I-4, giving up some 35 hp. I would look for a 2.0T. Cheaper to maintain and more fun to drive.
