Have a look. The front units mount to the struts with allen hed cap screws, 5mm I think. See if they are mounted securely and that their wires are non damaged.
Did they say which one it was?
I can't remember which one drives the speedo. It could be one of the rears. TG posted which over a year ago. The rears are built into the rear hubs.
The rears have a cable connector right at the hub. You could check theese out and the cables too.
These fail very rarelt. They are a simple coil inductor and are very trouble free usually. So I would look for wiring/connector problems as these are more exposed to damage.
Any front or rear maintenance work done that could have disturbed things?
