Yes the DRL's are programmable on the NG900's.
You can get rid of your DRLs by simply pulling the DRL fuse from the fusebox on the driver's side of the dash.
However, if you want your parking lights to function correctly you must reprogram the lighting computer with Saab's TechII scanner.
Pulling the fuse alone will shut the lights off when the headlight switch is off. But the headlights will be on when the switch is in the parking light position and the headlight position (W/ the ignition on). So you will not be able to switch on the parking lights only with the car on.
The Tech II actually reprograms which lights are on at which switch position. This sets everything straight and will make the lighting system function normally. Otherwise, if you don't care about the parking lights, then pulling the fuse is a quick and easy way to get rid of the DRLs
