So,
I just got my car back from the shop-
Konis, ross Drilled Rotors, SAS sway bar, "the woks"
Car Feels great, like a go cart.
So...Tonight I'm driving over to a friends house, over the Q bridge in New Haven, CT, and I hit something in the middle of the road. Thought it was a glass bottle or something because it really made a lot of sound, checked the sterring fine, so no blow out or immediate tire dammage. Get to my friend's house a look in back of the car, HOLY SH*T, gas is flowing freely out of the tank (actually form the middle of the car). Car had a full tank of Sunoco 94. Call AAA who tells me to call fire department. TWO Ladder trucks and 10 Fireman later my car is towed to my SAAB shop with a hole 2 INCHES wide in the gas tank!!! Apparently I hit a big piece of metal, but im really lucky it didn't hit both tires on the right side or I would have gone over the bridge. These things allways happen on friday, huh-
Have a good night and a safe weekend ya'll. I guess ill have to drive my '65 healey instead...
