Ten years ago you couldn't give away Audis (though I have always thought they were good cars), now there's a waiting list because they are very trendy, go figure.
I actually almost bought an A4 instead of my 900, but the A4's were too expensive since they depreciate much more slowly. Here in Chicago they were actually selling 1- and 2-year old A4's for only a fraction less than the new models.
I would not waste time with those jerks at the dealer. All too typical, in my experience. Wait to test drive the new 9-3's, I bet they're going to be very solid cars since they are a new platform.
