Hi all, my first post here, my first ever Saab, first ever convertible. Feel like I've joined a priveleged elite.
Ok, enough free advertising for them, gotta couple questions for you guys, but first the spec:
1996 900se 2.3 convertible
57,000 genuine miles
Due for service soon
(1) The 'Check Engine' light has been lit since I bought the car...well, it goes out when I start her up, but it's a little worrying. Plus I've noticed an unhealthy rattle from the engine, any possible culprits here?
(2) The handle that releases the bonnet...doesn't. I pull and tug, the mechanic always gets it open, but I can't, and I don't want to end up with the lever in my hand, and wrenched off it's base. Is there some kinda knack to getting the hood opened?
Thanks in advance for your help guys,
Jaybee.
