Funny. I have EXACTLY the same asphalt driveway with the big hump in the middle scientifically designed to scrape your front underbelly! I made 2 psuedo speedbump type things at the bottom of the drive way, one bag of ready to use asphalt on each side and shaped them into non-eyesore looking rectangular bumps (same black color as driveway so you can't really tell...anyway, who cares if they look added on...they save my car!).
So now the wheels aren't lower than the car when it noses into the driveway and as soon as the wheels hit the 'pads' i made it lifts the nose up and there are no more problems. off topic? maybe but i thought my experience might help you anyway.
Tom.
