So what mix of gas and diesel do you think there was in the tank?
And it still ran?
The diesel fuel that you pumped would be a #2 diesel fuel, most likely very high in sulfer. So the cat converter might not like that. Did you burn much of the fuel or get it drained out?
You might want to run some Techron. If the engine oil looks dark, that is probably a soot load if diesel fuel was been burned. Plugs are fouled? Have a look. After a run on good fuel the plugs could have burned clean.
The fuel system will not care about the diesel fuel.
You don't have to sign-off on hidden or unknown damages. But short of going to court, your options are limited.
