I used it and living in the desert soutwest the top has been up and down numerous times each day and hasnt had a problem since.
I just peeled enough of the trunk liner away to get at the motor and snaked the hoseclamp around the motor and attached it to a gray frame in front of it and its been perfect since not a chatter at all
