Hello Charles,
I just wanted to say I truly understand how you feel. I drive a 94 900 with very good paint because I alot of time, including several hours last weekend Waxing and Polishing it. The next day I make a quick stop at a store for about 5 minutes parking in a spot with no one beside me. I come out to see an older gentleman backing out of the spot next to me and driving off. A quick check on my passenger door reveals a dent the size of a dime with white primer showing. If you look down the both sides of my car you will see several door dings up to a silver dollar size. The aforementioned seems to be a normal situation every other time I go to public parking. I cannot understand why people can not learn how get into and out of their car with out causeing damage. I hope someday Shopping Centers make larger parking spaces and/or install cameras to catch the offenders!
Keep in mind the dent doctors, that can make most dents vanish and normally offer a discount for volume.
I always remind myself that I am lucky I don't drive a new Porsche or some other Exotic Car when this happens!
