The ECU modifcations extend the range of the ECU boost and fuel maps. There are no changes to the off boost maps where emissions are tested.
Because turbo engines run rich on boost and other high performance engines also run rich at WOT, emission control systems are non functional under these running conditions and emisions testing and regulations do not apply under those conditions.
So, nothing to worry about.
That been said, before you go to an emissions test, if you are getting on boost, the soot the collects in the cat while on boost will be burning off for a while. During these times the CO could be elevated while off boost until accumulated carbon is burnt off.
