Amplifier adapter cable - advice please...

...I was just in the final stages of deciding what to buy for an audio upgrade and found a JBL P80.4 amp that I thought would do the trick. This amp has 4 RCA in puts (front right1/left2 and rear right3/left4).
The info that I saw on the audio upgrade site doesn't mention how to put together the adapter cable for four distinct channels and other information on the TSN site refers to an Alpine cable that only has two RCA outputs. I would assume that the DIN cable can be wired for four RCA outputs since there are four channels showing on the diagram.
Is it as simple as using the ground for all channels and running the individual channels to the appropriate cable?
i.e.
four wires out from the ground location on the DIN cable and each one of the grounds matched up with the front left, front right, rear left, rear right. Is this all it will take to make the adapter? Which wires are used on the RCA cables? (colour coded??)
What about the mute and amp on wires from the DIN cable?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Theo
