...Side markers were a 3 minute exercise.
Bumper strips took about 2.5 hours. I used the original Saab black replacement pieces, just because they were relatively cheap at about $65 CDN. Looks much better than before.
There are a few things to watch out for with the rear bumper:
When reinstalling the bumper the 4 studs that go into the body should be guided in and the retaining bolts should be mounted so that almost full movement is still available (3 inches).
From under the car, you should carefully ensure that the clips on the side (2 per side) are guided into position prior to tightening the bolts on the inside of the trunk.
Once that is done, it is simply a matter of refitting the bumper around the wheel well and the job is finished.
