PLEASE help me with idle issues!

98 SET 97t kms, standard. Some times in the mornings (first start of the day) as the revs drop down to idle (1000 RPM Normal) it drops down below to 800 and idle becomes rough. It dose this even if I let the car warm up for 5to10 min before I head out. After 4 minutes of driving it is fine at stops. This morning as I rolled off the driveway I pushed the clutch in had it in reverse and as I rolled back: the idle dropped to 800 and was rough. It did this without me even touching the gas. I gave it some gas and clutch to get on the street and as I let off the gas the idle dropped and was rough. I revved the engine about 5 times to about 2000+ RPM and each time the revs fell it fell to 800 and became rough. After 4 min of driving it was ok. But I can almost feel that at some stops it wants to idle rough. New spark plugs and air filter. Sudden rough idle drops at stops in the morning have been evident for the past year or so (not every day). Please help me with any advice as to what can cause this as this makes owning a SAAB extremely frustrating. I love the car and I want to fix this the right way the first time.
Thanks for all the help,
Gabor
P.S. My first car a SAAB 1986 9000T dropped idle very low each time I got off the gas. That was a pain.
