Recently with the help of this message board, I was able to fix a leaky evaporator box in my ACC. However>= it appeasrs that when it rains with this model, it poors. Not like "Old Blue," my 88 900 with 200K +. The problem began when I was next to a gas station previously owned by a friend, but now owned by a dude who does not understand Saab. I was at the light and it would not gointo gear. Some guys help me push it off onto the lot of the service srarion and I fooled with it a bit. It seemed locked in receverse. I got out of the car and spoke to the station owner and had a bottle of Coke. After I cooled down, I was able to nurse the shifter back in and drove the car home, mostly in 2nd and 3rd.I once had a similar prolem with my 88. It would not go into 5th gear. That turned out to be a gromet that had been rooted by oil. I have driven the car a little in the neighberhood to get a better feeling for the problem. but the shifting feels funny and I got it back off the road. I did have the clutch cable go last year and replaced it. The car was not driven for about 3 months during the winter here in Buffalo, where I relyed in "Old Blue."
